A Weimar Flute: Presented by Morningside Opera - Events — Housing Works

A Weimar Flute combines sections of Mozart’s The Magic Flute with literature from Weimar Germany to create a new music-theater piece about community, commercialism, and regeneration. This piece explores the ways that opera and literature can work together, as a part of Morningside Opera’s 2011–12 season focus on opera interacting with other genres of art; to support this theme, the project will be performed at the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe in Soho. Join us for a stimulating evening of cabaret-style performance!

WE ARE HOSTING AN OPERA IN THE BOOKSTORE. Get your tickets now for 6/11, 6/14, or 6/18!
