This week! Here we go!
- Tonight we welcome Emily Wells and The Portland Cello Project for our benefit concert series, Live From Home. WNYC thinks you should come; we’ll have tickets available at the door. $15, doors at 7:30PM.
- Tomorrow Dave Hill, Michael Kupperman (just added) and Rachel Dratch discuss being funny people who wrote books.
- Wednesday we celebrate the third issue of the “magazine for people who love books,” and one of Library Journal’s best literary magazines, The Coffin Factory, with contributors Justin Taylor, Lara Vapnyer, Ali Hosseini, and more.
- And Thursday our Best of New York series, Safe Space, is back with novelist Nicole Krauss and pianist Simone Dinnerstein. Tickets still available; this series is one of my favorite events here at the store, it’s a great chance to get a taste of classical music with brilliant young musicians and hear fascinating discussion of the artist life across genres. $12, doors at 6:30PM.
