Hey y’all! I’m headed on vacation (at the MOBY DICK HOTEL no joke for part of it) this afternoon, so the Tumblr and such will be pretty quiet for the next two weeks. So I wanted to remind you about upcoming things here at Housing Works, because just because I’m not here doesn’t mean you can’t be.
- Wednesday, August 8, our favorite question and answer event, Ask Roulette, is back with Robert Krulwich, Dave Hill, Joe Garden, and Jenna Wortham. Free, 7PM.
- Friday, August 10, Happy Day happy hour is back all day on Friday! Drink buckets of beer from 10AM to 9PM. Crazy kids.
- Tuesday, August 14, The Moth StorySLAM will be telling stories “About Time.” Get there on time (which is usually by 6PM or so), Moth-ers line up early and this event always sells out. $8 at the door.
- And Friday, August 17, it’s another all-day Happy Day happy hour! We love you that much.
Of course, you can stop by all the time for great cold-brew coffee and discount books for a good cause. See you soon, we have a lot of exciting announcements about fall events in store. And I might not be able to resist posting photos from the Moby Dick Hotel, we’ll see.
