Sandy update
Due to power outages, all Housing Works shops and sites below 34th Street in Manhattan will be closed until further notice. All Thrift Stores above 34th Street in Manhattan, Thrift Stores in Brooklyn and Positive Health Project at Housing Works will be open.
We got word about the bookstore last night; we didn’t sustain any damage (hurray!) but are in the “dead zone” and do not know when we’ll have power back on. Information coming soon about rescheduled events.
Thank you,
Amanda
