This week, we’ve got the closing night performance of A Weimar Flute, your last chance to see opera (and it’s a short opera, only 90 minutes) in a bookstore. Tickets are still available. It’s pretty unreal, I’ve got to admit. Tomorrow night we’re proud to host Shameless, a reading full of rad ladies including hostess Melissa Febos (Whip Smart). Thursday night is The Moth StorySLAM with tales of “Small World,” plus our pals at Lost Weekend NYC on the LES are hosting the launch party for their program One Good Book, a benefit for Housing Works. More info to come, watch this space.
And don’t forget to nab tickets for next’s benefit concert with The Portland Cello Project and Emily Wells, and for Safe Space with Nicole Krauss and Simone Dinnerstein, our award-winning series pairing classical musicians with the writers who inspire them.
